About the Shop
In September 2009, we decided to open our own shop. After six months of hard work and with the help of numerous friends, Dovetail celebrated it’s grand opening on March 28th, 2010.
We restored the upper floor of an early 20th century house, pleasantly existing between the chaos of downtown Austin and the University area known as “the drag”.
The atmosphere of the shop is serene and warm. Our artists are respectful and talented. Dovetail Artists are without set shop hours, and typically work appointment only although we welcome walk-ins.
